Wave FX Early Access License & Download Terms
Agreement and limited license
By checking the agreement box and downloading Wave FX, you agree to these terms. Peppers.Ghöst grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to install and use the beta software only for your own evaluation and music production on devices you own or control. The software is licensed, not sold.
Ownership
Peppers.Ghöst and its licensors keep all ownership and intellectual-property rights in Wave FX, its code, interface, sound-design system, documentation, graphics, and related beta materials. Your license gives you permission to use the software; it does not transfer ownership of those materials or any Peppers.Ghöst intellectual property to you.
Your account and updates
Your account and personal Wave FX license authorize activation on up to two computers you own or control and must not be shared. Paid Wave FX lifetime purchases include free Wave FX updates for life and Pocket lifetime access with free Pocket updates; Pocket activates separately on up to two phones. Monthly Wave FX licenses require a paid subscription and include updates while subscribed, not the Pocket lifetime bundle. Wave FX 0.9 and later periodically verifies monthly access, supports up to seven days offline within the paid term and 72-hour grace period, and preserves saved settings if access expires. Lifetime use remains available offline after activation. Updates are delivered through Your library. Unrelated future products, separately sold expansions and custom services are not included.
Confidential beta materials
Until Peppers.Ghöst makes them public, treat the beta software and its non-public features, designs, technical details, documentation, and test materials as confidential. Use reasonable care to keep them private and use them only to evaluate or use Wave FX under this license. This duty does not cover information that becomes public without your breach, that you independently develop without using the confidential materials, or that you lawfully receive without a confidentiality duty.
What you may not do
You may not share your account or license code; publish, upload, redistribute, sublicense, rent, sell, or transfer the software or beta materials; copy them except for one private backup; reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or try to discover source code; modify or create derivative versions; remove ownership notices; or use the software or confidential beta materials to build or help build a competing product. A restriction applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Beta risks
Wave FX is pre-release software and may contain defects, change, or stop working. Back up important sessions and test it before relying on it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the beta is provided as-is and without warranties. Nothing here removes consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
Ending the license
This license ends automatically if you materially breach these terms. A monthly license also ends when its paid term and grace period end. Wave FX 0.9 and later fades the effect to bypass after its signed access expires or it receives a verified denial, while preserving settings, equations, and Visions. Earlier downloaded versions do not gain activation enforcement retroactively. An offline lifetime activation cannot be remotely recalled until it reconnects. When your legal right to use the software ends, stop using it. Peppers.Ghöst may suspend download and activation access for a breach. Sections concerning ownership, confidentiality, restrictions, and liability continue after termination where legally permitted.
Version and changes
Version 2026-10-12-r3, effective October 12, 2026. These terms govern the Wave FX early-access download and replace any earlier download license for this version. Changes require a new version and a new affirmative acceptance before download. Questions may be sent to peppersghost.io@gmail.com.
